There’s a Target here! I’m not sure it’s quite the same though.

Above are some pictures from these last few days. We can’t post full pictures of Lanie until Court is over and we are officially her parents.
Today we went for a walk and discovered they shut down the main street this morning and allowed bicycles and walkers to enjoy cruising down the main drag. It was great to get to walk without fear of being run over!
After naptime we went to the park to meet up with another family that is adopting here as well. They had 2 boys Alli’s age. We all had a great time together and will meet up again for more fun. We also learned more places to go and visit.
A few things we’ve learned about Colombia:
Crossing the street can be deadly. Motor vehicles have right away over pedestrians.
When meeting people, get ready for kisses 🙂
Bring your own toilet paper and hand soap everywhere. Public places do not have these as they are expensive and people steal them so they don’t provide them.
It rains a lot so be prepared.
When hanging clothes to dry, it will take days to dry due to humidity so plan ahead or wear them wet!
