I can’t believe it, but we actually have a meeting date! After beginning this process over a year ago and being told we would travel in about four months to pick up our daughter, changing agencies, and having multiple additional delays… we are finally going to Colombia to get Lanie, our new little girl!!!! We will meet Lanie May 30th at 11am in Manizales, Colombia! We are told Manizales is an incredibly beautiful place. Below is a picture of the city. We’ll begin our journey to get there Tuesday evening, May 28th flying to Miami. I’m headed to get Visas in Houston Monday! (Pinch me – this can’t be real!) I wonder what Lanie is thinking now…
